Half the mooring field available this beautiful Sunday afternoon at approximately 15:00. Choose a spot along the Northern shore in 23′ of water and snorkeled the mooring ground tackle … all looks sound. Last vessel I saw arrive was at 18:15 and they found one of the last mooring balls … pretty much full for the night. Mooring fee was $30.

Arrived at The Indians at 09:15 and lucky enough to find just one mooring free. Counted 9 mooring balls total. Witnessed one vessel leave and another vessel grabbed his spot immediately. Great snorkel with excellent visibility. I do not believe most mariners are complying with the 90 minute limit on National Parks Moorings, unfortunately.

Easy motor to Norman Tuesday afternoon. Open mooring field. Woke to more wind, boat rocking a bit on mooring. Great dinner last night at the club. Recommend the ox tail raviolis.

Arrived at about 12:00 noon; lots of balls available. Dinner at Pirate’s Bight – food just so so, service not to great. Like the anchorage – great location for snorkeling the caves, but would dinner aboard next time.

Captured this aerial shot of the Eastern corner of The Bight during a quick stop around 11:30 am shortly after snorkeling the Caves. Willy-T’s opened at noon and was full-on party by 1:00 pm.
