Jason at Guana Island just confirmed over email that there are a total of three (3) mooring balls in White Bay that are FCFS @ $30 a night.
We will be down in a few weeks and thought I’d check. 15 sounded too high from what I remembered.
8 boats in the field, 3 balls available – one ball’s pendant seemed to be tangled up with its mooring line
Thank you for your valuable comment Baard! The White Bay, Guana Island anchorage page has been updated to show the presence of 15 mooring balls per your observation. Thanks again for contributing to BVI Mariner!
15 public mooring balls in early Dec 2016.
Scenic anchorage with sundowner views. Uncomfortable with any northerly swell. Susceptible to gusty winds coming down the hillside and around the island.
